Thousands of salutation to you
O maker of the nation !
Could you please come back
For the present generation.

They have lost their faith
In Bibles,Quran and Gita,
They find no ideals
In Damyanti,Draupadi and Sita.

Communal riots have claimed
The death of thousand lives;
The corruption is on full swing
And the officials look for bribes.

They respect not their elders
And the gentle hearts;
With hatred and malice
Full are their carts.

Religious fanaticism is on way
They have lost the right way.
O dear father ! come once again
On your birth land,
And teach us the lesson of love
So that our country become grand !
